Who are you currently signed with (agencies)? Mode Models, New York Models, and Why Not Models.
When did you sign with them? Were you "discovered"? I signed with Mode and NY in July 2006 and Why Not in January 2007. I was discovered by Mode!
What first interested you in modeling and fashion? America's Next Top Model! Even though thats not what its all really like that is what first made me want to do it!
I know you've recently been in NY for work, doing castings and test shoots. What specific things did you get to do? Haha I did 5 tests this time in NY and quite a few castings but thats about it! Its so much fun getting to meet all of the new people, I love it!
Is the whole process what you thought it would be or have there been surprises? Its a lot more work than I thought it would be. I also thought everyone would be kind of mean or stuck up but we haven't had a bad experience yet! It has been amazing so far!
What's up next for you in the coming months? ?? I have no idea!
Any advice for others starting to get into the industry? Have fun with it! Just enjoy it. Its a great experience.

i love Sam and her work, i can say this full out, because i know her from school! we used to be in the same foods class, and we would talk about americas next top model...forget the cooking! samantha ypma. im very excited about this girl. she has unusual but such an amazing face. love the way she looks at the camera. her eyes are stricking!
she is also good, and going to be bigger for sure, for she has a face that is not simmilar to any other face. she is very unique, therefore recognazible.
